The Santa Express returns to Zig Zag Railway for another season of festive fun!
Join us on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December 2025 for a joyful Christmas journey through the Blue Mountains aboard our beautifully restored heritage carriages.
Santa himself will be travelling with us on every service greeting children, sharing smiles, and making magical memories along the way.
This relaxed, family-friendly steam train adventure includes a return trip between Clarence and Top Points, surrounded by stunning bushland, heritage railway charm, and the warmth of the holiday season.
Every paying child (aged 3+) receives a special gift from Santa, and families can add an optional infant gift for the littlest travellers.
There’ll be plenty of photo opportunities with Santa and the train at each stop, plus festive displays at Clarence Station created by Pretty Party People perfect for capturing that picture-perfect Christmas moment.
After your journey, enjoy a treat from the Zig Zag Café, browse the souvenir store, or take home an exclusive Santa Express T-shirt as a festive keepsake.
