Immerse yourself in the world of a child and embark on our 'Day Out with Thomas' adventure. Setting off from Clarence Station you board a train behind Thomas the Tank Engine and travel down to Bottom Points Station. You are greeted by the Fat Controller who kindly directs you to the workshops, which have been cleared and filled with Thomas fun.

Here you will enjoy a Thomas Carnival experience, with rides and amusements, miniature railway displays, tattoos and face painting and of course refreshments to keep your stamina up to enjoy the Thomas fun.

The Thomas train will pick you up and “chuff” up the steep climb, back to Clarence Station and your car.

Feel free to wander around or picnic in the Zig Zag grounds, and watch the hustle and bustle of the engines travelling to and fro, all day long.

The 'Day Out with Thomas' adventure runs on set dates; due to its popularity, bookings are essential.

Free parking at Clarence Station, between Bell and Lithgow on Bells Line of Road.
Drinks, snacks and souvenirs available at Clarence and Bottom Points Stations.
In addition to the 'Day Out with Thomas' services Steam Trains will run at 11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm from Clarence Station.
